The electric push rod rotary decanter is widely applicable to the treatment of urban sewage and various industrial wastewater such as papermaking, beer, tanning, and pharmaceuticals. It is used to decant the treated supernatant from the surface during the drainage stage and is a key piece of equipment in the SBR process.
Structure&Principle:
The equipment adopts a rotary, electric push rod structure and is installed inside the reaction tank or sedimentation tank. During operation, the drive unit actuates the push rod, causing the decanter to gradually lower at a controlled speed to the water surface (within a specified stroke range), submerging the weir opening below the water level. The supernatant liquid flows into the weir opening, collects through the branch watercollecting pipes into the main pipe, and is then discharged. When stopping, the push rod lifts the decanter, raising the weir opening above the water surface, thus completing one decanting cycle.
Main Features:
1. The equipment features a compact structure, stable operation, easy installation of the overall structure, and low operating costs.
2. It has strong adaptability to changes in water quality and quantity, with a decanting depth of up to 3.0 meters.
3. For a treatment capacity Q < 1000 m³/h, a single push rod is used; for Q ≥ 1000 m³/h, a double push rod is adopted.
4. A scum baffle is installed at the decanting weir to ensure that the liquid surface at the weir remains stable during operation, guaranteeing optimal effluent quality.
5. The equipment is equipped with variable frequency speed regulation and PLC automatic and remote control, making operation and management convenient.
