Application scenarios:
The bridge-type sand suction machine is mainly used for sand-water treatment in aerated grit chambers of urban wastewater treatment plants or water supply plants. It lifts the mixture of larger particles such as sand and cinder settled at the bottom together with wastewater into the sand discharge trough beside the tank. According to user requirements, oil skimming and scum skimming devices can be added.
Structure&Principle:
This equipment adopts a mobile bridge structure with a pumpsuction design. When the sand suction machine is not in operation, it stops at the water inlet end. When in operation, the traveling mechanism moves under electrical control.
During forward movement along the direction of the water flow, the skimming plate is first lowered to scrape and collect floating scum, directing it into the steel scum trough at the end of the tank. During reverse movement, the skimming rake is lifted above the water surface to prevent the scum from flowing backward.
The sandwater mixture at the bottom of the tank is drawn up by the sand suction pump through the suction pipe and discharged into the sand collection trough beside the tank. From there, it flows through a pipeline into the sandwater separator for further treatment. The machine operates in this backandforth cycle to achieve the purposes of sand suction, sand discharge, and scum skimming.
