Application scenarios:
The sand-water separator is suitable for sand-water treatment in grit chambers of urban wastewater treatment plants. It is mainly used in conjunction with vortex grit chamber sand separators or bridge-type sand suction machines to further separate the discharged sand-water mixture.
Structure&Principle:
This equipment adopts a shaftless screw design. The sandwater mixture is fed into the upper part of the separator. The sand and gravel settle by gravity in the sandwater separation tank, and as the shaftless screw rotates, it gradually pushes the sand and gravel along the 25° Ushaped trough to the outlet, where they fall into the receiving hopper for external transportation. The separated water is discharged from the overflow port of the separation tank to improve the operating environment and facilitate external transportation.
Main Features:
1. The drive unit adopts a shaft-mounted parallel-shaft helical gear reducer, featuring a compact structure and stable, safe operation.
2. The recovery rate of particles larger than 0.2 mm after separation can reach 96%.
3. The U-shaped trough is equipped with a liner, providing strong wear resistance, a long service life, and easy replacement.
4. The entire machine operates in a fully enclosed manner, resulting in good environmental conditions. The frame is fixed using expansion bolts, eliminating the need for embedded parts.
5. The equipment can be controlled in linkage with supporting equipment for convenient operation, or it can be equipped with its own local control box.
