Application scenarios:
The nonmetallic chain scraper is mainly used in horizontal flow grit chambers or sedimentation tanks of wastewater treatment plants. It uses nonmetallic chains to drive the scrapers, continuously scraping sand, sludge, or suspended solids deposited at the bottom of the tank to the grit collection pit or sludge discharge port, achieving efficient, lownoise, and lowmaintenance sand and sludge scraping operations.
Structure&Principle:
Structure: It is mainly composed of nonmetallic chains (engineering plastic), scrapers, a drive unit, a tensioning device, a track system, guide wheels, and a sand/sludge collection trough.
Principle: The drive unit drives the nonmetallic chains to circulate along the track system at the bottom of the tank. As the chains move, the scrapers continuously push the sand or sludge deposited on the tank bottom toward the sand collection pit or sludge discharge port. The collected material is then discharged by gravity or with the assistance of auxiliary equipment, achieving continuous, stable, and lownoise sand and sludge scraping.
