Application scenarios:
The integrated scum separation machine is mainly used to efficiently separate, collect, and dewater scum and suspended solids from wastewater, reducing the load on subsequent treatment processes and improving effluent quality. It is commonly used in scenarios such as grit chambers, equalization tanks, and dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems.
Structure&Principle:
Structure: It is mainly composed of a drive unit, a scum scraping/skimming mechanism (scraper or chain), a separation drum/screen, a squeezing and dewatering device, a scum collection tank, and a scum discharge port; some models are equipped with a flushing system and a liquid level adjustment device.
Principle: The scum in the wastewater is collected by the scraping mechanism and transported to the separation drum/screen; using the principles of mechanical filtration or gravity sedimentation, water passes through the screen and is discharged while the scum is retained; it then enters the squeezing section for further dewatering to reduce moisture content, and is finally discharged through the scum discharge port, achieving the integration of scum collection, solid-liquid separation, and dewatering.
