Application scenarios:
The Rake Tooth Rotary Bar Screen is an advanced solid-liquid separation device for water treatment. It is mainly used at the water inlets of urban sewage treatment plants, residential community sewage pretreatment systems, municipal rainwater/sewage pumping stations, waterworks, and power plant cooling water systems.
The equipment is also widely applied in water treatment projects across various industries, including textiles, printing and dyeing, food processing, aquaculture, papermaking, brewing, slaughtering, and tanning. It is an ideal solid-liquid separation device in the water treatment industry.
Structure&Principle:
The equipment adopts a rotary design. Plow‑shaped rake teeth of a special shape are arranged in a specific sequence and quantity on a horizontal shaft to form a rake tooth chain. Depending on the water flow rate, different clearances can be configured. The screen is installed at the inlet of a pumping station or water treatment system.
When the drive unit moves the rake tooth chain upward from the bottom, debris in the water is captured by the chain, while the liquid flows through the screen gaps. After the equipment rotates to the upper vertex, the rake tooth chain reverses direction and moves downward. The debris falls off the rake teeth by gravity.
When the rake teeth rotate from the reverse side back to the bottom of the equipment, another cycle begins. This continuous, reciprocating operation constantly removes debris from the water, achieving the purpose of solid-liquid separation.
Main Features:
1、The drive unit adopts a cycloidal pinwheel or helical gear reduction motor for direct drive, featuring low noise, a compact structure, and stable operation.
2、The frame has an integral frame structure with high rigidity, easy installation, and minimal daily maintenance.
3、Two types of rake teeth are available: for coarse screens, the rake tooth pitch t = 150 mm; for fine screens, the rake tooth pitch t = 100 mm.
4、The equipment is easy to operate and can be controlled either locally or remotely.
5、To prevent accidental overload, both a mechanical shear pin and overcurrent protection are provided, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
6、When the equipment width is 1500 mm, a parallelmachine configuration will be adopted to ensure the overall strength of the equipment.
