Structure&Principle:
The rotating filter screen of the Rotary Curved Orifice Plate Screen is composed of a series of filter modules. The filter screen is driven by sprockets via drive chains on both sides. The sprockets are mounted on a drive shaft and driven directly by a geared motor.
When the filter screen, carrying the intercepted debris, reaches the upper turning point, it is continuously cleaned by a separately driven rotating roller brush. The roller brush rotates in the opposite direction to the movement of the filter screen, which increases the cleaning force and significantly improves the cleaning effect.
An internally installed flushing water pipe serves as an aid to the cleaning process. Flushing water sprayed from the inside out washes the debris attached to the filter screen away in the reverse direction.
The Rotary Curved Orifice Plate Screen demonstrates its advantages of reliability and robustness when filtering large quantities of solids such as sand and gravel. The two-dimensional filtration system can also remove long fibrous materials, achieving optimal separation efficiency.

CounterRotating Roller Brush Cleaning System
The Rotary Curved Orifice Plate Screen significantly improves the cleaning efficiency of the filter plates through a properly arranged counterrotating roller brush system. If a corotating brush roller were used, the cleanedoff screenings would be thrown toward the inner edge of the discharge hopper, causing accumulation. In contrast, the counterrotating brush roller effectively prevents such buildup, eliminating the need for additional cleaning equipment and reducing the load on the system.
Sealing between the Filter Plates and Screen Frame
The sealing between the filter plates and the screen frame of the Rotary Curved Orifice Plate Screen is made of special polymer materials. The flexible seal ensures continuous sealing between the filter plates and the frame during operation and can be easily replaced.
Lower Sprockets and Bearings
The lower sprocket bearings of the Rotary Curved Orifice Plate Screen, which are located underwater, are made of ultra-high molecular weight wear-resistant material and require no maintenance. The sprockets and chains used in the screen are made of highstrength wearresistant nylon, providing longterm corrosion resistance. If required, highstrength stainless steel sprockets and chains are also available.
