The Internal Flow Plate Fine Screen is a highly reliable, stable, and high-performance mechanical screening and filtration device. It is widely used in municipal sewage and water treatment plants, various industrial wastewater treatment facilities, as well as other solid-liquid separation applications.
During operation, the product continuously and automatically removes suspended solids from the filtered water. It not only captures floating debris such as wooden wedges, branches, and plastic products but also effectively removes hair, fibers, flocculent soft matter, and other fine suspended substances. It is an ideal and efficient pre-treatment equipment for water supply and drainage systems.
It has been extensively applied in fields such as sewage treatment, reclaimed water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, water intake for waterworks, and industrial water intakes for power plants.
In recent years, with the upgrading of sewage treatment standards, the increasing requirements for advanced treatment, and the need to reduce scum and fiber issues in subsequent sludge treatment, the Internal Flow Plate Fine Screen has been vigorously promoted. Particularly in MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) and BAF (Biological Aerated Filter) processes, which demand highly efficient removal of hair and fibers, the adoption of the Internal Flow Plate Fine Screen with a filtration accuracy of 1mm has become the mainstream screening technology. It plays a crucial role in reliably protecting the stable operation of subsequent membrane reactors and biological filters.

Main Structural Components:
The Internal Flow Plate Fine Screen consists of filter orifice plates, sprocket chains, a main frame, a flushing system with screenings collection components, a screen housing, a drive motor, and system seals.
Filtration Principle:
Wastewater to be filtered enters the interior of the screen through the center of the orifice plate frame. The water exits through the orifice plates on both sides, while suspended solids such as screenings, hair, and fibers are trapped on the inner walls of the plates. As the entire filter orifice plate assembly rotates, it lifts the trapped materials upward to the top.
At the top, a pressure flushing water pipeline is installed above the outer side of the orifice plates. Automatic flushing with pressurized water cleans the plates, washing the trapped screenings into a collection trough located below the inner side of the plates. The screenings then flow by gravity through a conveying trough to a screenings dewatering press for compression and dehydration.
The entire filtration, washing, and dewatering process operates continuously and automatically.
