Application scenarios:
Hydraulic Bar Screen (also known as Rotary Bar Screen) is mainly suitable for the inlets of drainage pumping stations, rivers, and large-scale hydraulic pumping stations with large flow rates. It is used to intercept large floating solid debris in the water body to ensure the smooth flow of water.
Structure&Principle:
The equipment adopts a back-drop, rotary chain design. The water-passing screen surface consists of rake plates and fixed grid bars. As wastewater flows through, debris larger than the bar spacing is intercepted. The rake teeth penetrate deep into the gaps between the grid bars.
When the drive unit rotates the traction chain, the rake teeth convey the intercepted debris from the bottom to the top discharge outlet. As the rake teeth turn downward from the top, the debris falls off by gravity through the discharge opening into a conveyor for external transport or further processing.
Main Features:
1、The drive unit adopts a cycloidal pinwheel or helical gear reduction motor for direct drive, featuring low noise, a compact structure, and stable operation.
2、The rake teeth are of an oblique pointed type and are welded integrally with the transverse shaft, enabling the capture of large debris.
3、The frame utilizes an integral frame structure with high rigidity, ensuring easy installation and minimal daily maintenance.
4、The equipment is simple to operate and can be controlled either locally or remotely.
5、To prevent accidental overload, both a mechanical shear pin and overcurrent protection are provided, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
6、A secondary screen is installed at the bottom. When the rake teeth rotate from the back to the front of the main screen, the secondary screen automatically fits against the main screen to prevent water short-circuiting and the inflow of floating debris.
