Screw-type hoists utilize a spiral screw mechanism to facilitate the vertical or rotational movement of the components being operated. They are widely used for opening and closing equipment such as gates and weir gates in various water supply, drainage, and hydraulic engineering projects.
Structure&Principle:
Screw-type hoists can be categorized into hand-wheel, hand-crank, and dual-purpose (manual/electric) types. The dual-purpose hoists are further divided into standard models and electromechanically integrated models. Their operating principle involves the handwheel or electric motor driving the thrust nut to rotate. Under the action of the trapezoidal thread, this rotation causes the screw rod to drive the gate body upward or downward, thereby achieving the opening and closing operation.
Main Features:
1. Each thrust nut is equipped with a plane bearing, featuring a simple and rational structure.
2. Low manual operating force is required.
3. The drive unit employs an oil-bath lubrication system. The gears are made of low-alloy steel and undergo carburizing treatment, with a tooth surface hardness of no less than HRC 58. The bearing service life is not less than 100,000 hours. Under any conditions, the oil-bath gearbox remains sealed and requires no maintenance.
4. The electric drive features accurate limit positioning and high sensitivity. It provides bidirectional "torque" protection, while the motor is equipped with overload and overheat protection. It can operate normally even when the voltage drops to 90% of the rated voltage.
