Application scenarios:
The highdrainage press is mainly used in wastewater treatment plants, waterworks, and pump stations, usually paired with bar screens. Its core function is to deeply dewater, compress, and press screenings such as branches, plastic bags, fibers, and fruit peels, significantly reducing their volume and moisture content for easier transportation, landfilling, or incineration, and effectively minimizing odor.
Structure&Principle:
Structure: It is mainly composed of a feed hopper, a screw conveying and pressing system, a screen (or cylindrical filter screen), a slag discharge port, a counterweight (or hydraulic) pressing mechanism, a drive motor, and a water receiving pan. The core components are a main shaft with helical blades and a semi-cylindrical screen that matches it.
Principle: During operation, screenings enter through the feed hopper and are pushed toward the slag discharge port by the helical blades. As the pitch of the screw shaft gradually decreases (or the diameter gradually increases), the spatial volume continuously reduces, creating a squeezing force. At the same time, a counterweight or hydraulic baffle at the slag discharge port provides reverse resistance. Under the dual pressure, water in the screenings is rapidly discharged through the screen, and the solid matter is compressed into a cake shape, which is finally discharged from the slag discharge port, achieving solid-liquid separation and volume reduction.
Main Features:
1. Further dewaters and compresses the screenings to reduce odor and volume. It can be used independently or in conjunction with a bar screen.
2. Multiple slag discharge angles and heights are available to meet on-site requirements.
3. Installation is fixed with expansion bolts, requiring no embedded parts, making installation convenient.
