Congratulations to BEWG Daoxianghu Reclaimed Water Plant Phase II for being awarded the 2024 Beijing Architecture (Great Wall) Structural Quality Project.
The Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water Plant was jointly built by the Haidian District Water Affairs Bureau and Beijing Enterprises Water Group. It is the first fully underground reclaimed water plant in northern my country. It organically combines underground sewage treatment facilities with above-ground landscape parks, redefining the traditional impression of sewage treatment plants. As an ecological complex integrating sewage treatment, deep water purification, comprehensive utilization of water resources, underground treatment facilities and above-ground landscape parks, the Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water Plant also serves as a recycled water demonstration base, a technological innovation demonstration base and a science education base.
Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water PlantThe first phase of the project was officially put into commercial operation in 2017, with a daily treatment capacity of 80,000 tons. The second phase of the project was put into commercial operation at the end of July this year, with the daily sewage treatment capacity doubled.
Huihuang Environmental Protection successfully won the bid for the inflow grille and ancillary equipment procurement project of the second phase of Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water Plant in October 2023.
